A Leesburg woman was seriously injured after her car collided with a train Friday afternoon in Kosciusko County. Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Deputies and emergency personnel responded to a 9-1-1 call near the intersection of County Road 600 North and Old State Road 15 at around 4:30 p.m. When they arrived, responders found Lorraine J. Amerkanos, 58, trapped inside her vehicle. She was transported to Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne, in serious condition with multiple injuries.
