There are articles upon articles written about what you can do to help your child who may be a victim. They contain many good suggestions, and there are some very good strategies. However the most effective way to address bullying is not by giving strategies to victims, its by effecting change on a institutional basis. The real responsibility for ending bullying falls on the institution. Bringing a consistent set of policies to both prevent and punish bullying, as well as to promote active kindness is key. The most important thing to do if your child is being bullied is to make sure they know its not their fault and get active to ensure that your childs school is handling the issue in the right way.
