A Mini FuzzyMemories Meeting? The Midwest Regional High School and College Radio Conference was held on September 28, 2013. At the conference were members of this website Kevin Szaflik, Marty Zivin, John Bell (who still needs to register for the forums) and Jeff Lupetin. The 10th Annual Terri Hemmert Columbia College Chicago High School Radio/Audio Awards were given out after a wonderful keynote speech by Ms. Hemmert herself. She talked about growing up in Piqua, Ohio, how her work at numerous volunteer positions has made a difference in her life and others, and her struggles as she became the first female rock drive time host in Chicago. Here is a commercial from July 10, 1984 when she was morning drive time host from 6 AM to 10 AM at 93.1 FM WRXT. She is still there today, now on 9 AM to Noon weekdays and Sundays from 8 AM to 10 AM with "Breakfast With the Beatles."
