A Morford blog said that Remberence Morford moved in 1887 thats really early so no land grant. The house that he lived in had at least 3 foundations extending from the original cabin so there were several changes prior to 1894. In 1894 the house was substantially increased. The date is fairly certain because he plastered the madrona planks that covered the inside walls with 1894 newspapers in a Papier-mâché fashion with wallpaper over the top. Anyone have more information or old pictures of the house. I saw a old photo of the house from 1900 with long neat rows tied up like currents or grapes and orchards but I only have a bad copy machine picture. The nails look like square tapered iron. A1930s tax photo had a huge barn that seemed unusually large. There were lots of horse shoes, bridals and a front carriage swivel and seat spring and a few 4-5ft iron wheel rims as well.
