A PERSONAL RELATIONSHIP WITH THE LAW-GIVER. TEXT: “And he said unto them, set your hearts unto all the words which I testify among you this day, which ye shall command your children to observe to do, all the words of this law. For it is not a vain thing for you; because it is your life: and through this thing ye shall prolong your days in the land, whither ye go over Jordan to possess it”. Deut. 32:46-47 The law was life to Moses. Moses fellowshipped with God on the mountain as he received the law, and the bible tells us that when he had come down, he didn’t realize that he face was radiant! The Power and Life of God rubbed off on him. From then on, the laws weren’t mere rules and regulations to keep for Moses- it was Life!! The Bible says that the law was glorious (2 Corinthians 3:7). Though, not in any way comparable to the glory of the new covenant, the law was glorious! Remember JESUS rebuked the devil with the words of the law during the temptation on the Mount? You may have wondered, Why then was the law the ministration of death to the children of Isreal? It was because they tried to obey the law without a personal relationship with the Law-Giver. God invited them to come to Him on the mount but fear and stubbornness made them insist that Moses goes on their behalf to get the law. God’s priority has always been Relationship! He says, “Walk in the Spirit and you would not fulfill the lusts of the flesh” Gal. 5:16. Let’s wrap-up with this Scripture: “For if you live after the flesh, you must die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live. For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are children of God”. Romans 8:13 - 14 Do this: Walk in fellowship with God today ……. and always. Keep making this Confession/Prayer: I AM Success-filled, I AM Wealth-Filled, I AM Victorious, and I AM Testimony- Filled this Day and forever more, In JESUS Mighty Name!!! Have a Splendid Wednesday!
