A POEM written by JERRY SMART ~ Oh Earth! Oh Earth! The great woman that have outlived all her visitors. A one-time beautiful woman to behold, how did you manage to turn so bad just like a wrecked car? By books, i came to understand that you were once like a paradise, like an oasis whose beauty attracted even angels. But today, youve so experience wear & tear to the extent that your voice have become a threat to your beneficiaries, causing them to run helter skelter in search of protection. Against your will, youve rained hell on the lovely creatures that were once cocooned in your loving arms. I dont know how you feel, knowing that one day youll be gone for your sister(new earth) to come. I wont be here to witness your sent-off or to bid you goodbye. But till then, i say to you, be strong!
