A PRAYING LIFE Exceedingly Abundantly By Mrs. Yvonne Perkins November 27, 2010 | 1:15 am Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us. (Ephesians 3:20 KJV) The word of God is life, spirit, truth, power and powerful. The bible declares it is sharper than any two edged sword. The word of God heals, reveals the nature of God. It provides guidance and direction to our path. It encourages and lifts up us to another place. I was meditating on this passage of scripture and was inspired by this word as I began to look up words in the dictionary to more clearly understand what God was saying through his word. I want to share this mediation with you. Now -at this present moment, in this present circumstance. Unto him - God, Jesus, Holy Spirit. WHO is able - has the ability, the power, skill, resources and qualification. To do - to perform, to bring to pass, to execute, to accomplish. Exceedingly - to go beyond, to surpass. Abundantly - present in great quantity, well supplied, richly supplied. Above all - higher than anything, everything, totally, the whole thing. That we ask - request, inquire of, seek information. Or think - imagine, to consider something as a possible action. According to - in agreement with, in proper relationship or proportion. The power - the ability to do or act. That worketh in us - exertion or effort directed to produce or accomplish something, labor, toil. Worketh - means continuingly works in us. What is the message? Now, at this present moment in our present circumstances we move towards him - God, Jesus, Holy Spirit and finds that he is able. He is able to do - he has the ability, the authority, and the capability, the authorization to do, to bring to pass and to execute whatever we need him to do in our lives. He goes beyond and surpasses that which is expected. He does it in an abundant way because his supply is rich, unlimited and in great quantity. God does above all, everything, anything, the whole, nothing left out all that we can possible ask - inquire of, make a request of, seek information about or think - consider as a possibility. We can not even imagine the things that God has the power, the ability to do, to give to us. God does is according to the power that worketh in us. He works in proportion to the effort that we put in to accomplish that we want him to do. According to the level of faith that we exert to obtain that which we need from him. The Amplified Bible puts it this way: Now to Him Who, by (in consequences of) the (action of His) power that is at work within us, is able to (carry out His purpose and) do super-abundantly, far over and above all that we (dare) ask or think - infinitely beyond our highest prayers, desires, thoughts, hopes or dreams. The Message interprets it this way: God can do anything you know - far more than you could ever imagine or guess or request in your wildest dreams! He does it not by pushing us around but by working within us, his Spirit deeply and gently within us. Heavenly Father, I pray for each reader of this article that you will enlighten the eyes of their understanding and reveal to them the Rhema of this word for their lives. Thank you God that you are now present in our circumstances, situations and as we move towards you that we will cease to be blinded by our problems, our circumstances and see you. Our father, provider, deliverer, God, savior, king, lover, protector, keeper who is ABLE, ABOVE ALL, THROUGH ALL, IN ALL, IN EVERYTHING, TOTALLY, COMPLETELY, NOTHING LEFT OUT - you are simply ABLE. Thank you God that because of our limited ability to even ask or think or understand what it is we need that in your infinite wisdom you declared that you are able to do EXCEEDING ABUNDANTLY MORE. Thank you God that you will always go beyond what is expected, and your resources are immeasurable, rich and unlimited. Thank you for your dunamis power that resides in us and we ask that your Holy Spirit will teach us how to unleash that dunamis power within us that it may continuously work to bring forth your purpose, your plan, and your desires for our lives according to your thoughts for us. Thank you God that it is your good pleasure to give us the kingdom, the desires of our heart as we seek your kingdom we need not be ashamed or intimidated to ask of you the things we desire as long as we are obedient to your word. And to you be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen
