The Jamaican integrity within the video ties in with its history and roots of Mento music. The slave population in Jamaica created Mento Music as a mix of the European sounds of ballroom dancing that they would see the plantochracy enjoying in their great Houses mixed with their own African rhythms, it created Quadrille out of that came Mento. The video depicts the Jolly Boys and Albert Minotts contemporary manifestation.
