A Postcard in my collection. A J.C. Postcard Co. litho postcard. Postmarked 11 December 1912. Sydney, King St c1908. Unfortunately, this postcard has been so heavily retouched that much of the important elements have been lost, but it is an interesting image nonetheless. There is some details that can be gleaned from the image. It is a summer time, as evidenced by the police constable in white helmet and pants and the road is wood-blocked evidenced by the workers digging up blocks in the foreground. Other features include the ground level signal box and signals at right (with decorative roof top finials) and heavier tramway electricity feeder cables directly above J Class tram 682 ascending the grade.
