A Qantas A380 bound for the United States has been forced to turn back to Sydney. It is the third Qantas flight to make an unscheduled landing in less than 24 hours. On Monday afternoon a flight from Perth to Karratha was turned back after a strong odour was detected in the cabin while earlier in the day a plane travelling from Dubai to Sydney made an emergency landing in Perth following an air conditioning problem.
