A REQUEST FOR FRIENDS WHO RUN! A lot of you know my family has been very involved with the homeless ministry at the The Savannah Baptist Center and my mother leads volunteer teams six times a year. The center sees several hundred homeless people each week and is in need of things that us runners have excess of! 1) Men and Womens tennis shoes - they give these out to those who need them. If you have any old shoes that still have sufficient tread left and would like to donate them, please let me know. 2) Race bags - if youre like me, you have tons of these drawstring swag bags and have only used a couple (if any) of them. The center gives them and backpacks out to the homeless to carry their possessions. If you want to declutter your stash and pass them on, Ill take them! Thanks for reading!
