A SERIOUS SITUATION. All praise and thanks be to Allaah; Azza wajal. We beseech His peace and blessings upon Noble Prophet Muhammad(sollallaahu alayhi wasallam). The Lecture of Al-Imaam Al-Ustaadh Ishaaq MuhammadulAwwal(HafidhahuLlaah) was meant to played to the publlc yesterday at about 5:45p.m to 6:00p.m in the evening on Ogun Radio 90.5 F.M. However, we awaited this lecture but to no avail. Instead another program was fixed for that time! What happened? Ustaadh went about a week ago to record this programme at their studio which encompasses christians as majority of studio workers. The program recorded was based upon The causes of Calamities like Ebola and their solutions--The Islamic Perspective. Meanwhile; after the recording had been carried out; one of the sudio workers came to Ustaadh and said: We are sorry to inform you that your recorded program will be edited as some statements of yours are against the media ruling and not in conformity with the legislation of the Word Health Organization(WHO). Now; the questions are: What are those statements made that led to this accusations? Firstly, the studio workers said: There exist in the WHO legislation; diseases that do not have cure like HIV! However Ustaadh has slammed down this ruling using the hadeeth in saheeh Muslim and others that: Allaah does not descend a disease upon the earth except that He descends the cure alongside with it; the One who know it knows it and the One who knows it not knows it not! So they claim that this statement of the Prophet is not inconjuction with WHO ethics! Who is fooling who? Secondly, they claimed he said: This and many other rulings connote the beauty of Islaam and the reason why Allaah has chosen it as the religion of mankind could cause rift amongst the Public listeners and thereby lead to conflict or probably chaos. SubhaanaLlaah! This is dhulm(Injustice)! How many of christian programs have we also heard on T.V and radio networks that preaches such! May Allaah assist the muslims. In Lieu of their claims; They are had to edit out those against their whims. Despite all these harassment; they did not play the supposed program yesterday! SubhaanaLlaah! They gave excuses of they misplaced the recorded disk! What a way of displaying their non-professionalism in their field! This is one of the ways they cause trouble and later say the muslims did this and that! We would however say less but verily say very much more if that same program is not played to the Public nextweek thursday(5:45-6:00p.m) Ogun F.M. Allahul mustaaan.
