A SOLE STEWARDESS POSITION ON A 88.5 FT SAILING YACHT (PRIVATE) A 88.5ft sailing yacht is currently searching for a Sole Stewardess to join their crew of 4. The yacht is looking for a candidate between the ages of Early 20’s – early 30’s. The candidate needs to have at least 6 months plus experience as a Sole stewardess on a yacht of this size. The Yacht requires a crew member with a sound knowledge or willingness to learn about sailing, as the yacht is currently on an around the world tour. Interior Duties include interior cleaning and upkeep of the yacht with detailing of cabins, heads, galley and saloon. This sailing yacht has a great owner who is very active and does not like to spend too much time in any one place. This Sailing Yacht requires that the crewmember have common sense at all times. Must have a good personality, and good attitude, flexible, hard worker and like to work in a good team environment. Fit in with the current Crew. This is a sporty boat with crew involved in activities daily. There is a fun atmosphere onboard along with a commitment to provide an OUTSTANDING level of service for our owner and guests. Standard Medical is included. This job will involve a mixture of ocean passages (without the owner) and inshore cruising with owner and guests. ITINERARY: The yacht is currently doing the Oyster World Rally and will finish in Antigua May 2014. The position will be starting in Darwin Australia, and then on to Indonesia, Mauritius, Reunion Island, South Africa, Brazil, Caribbean. The candidate must be able to commit until May 2014, when the yacht arrives in Antigua, Caribbean. QUALIFICATIONS: STCW95. ENG1 Strong service skills and eye to detail is essential. The candidate must enjoy sailing or be willing to learn! Must be extremely organised, well presented and have an outgoing personality. Strong laundry skills and good eye to detail in the interior. START DATE: Early/Mid September 2013 –the crew-member will be expected to join the yacht in Darwin EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Full time – 9 months when the yacht arrives in Antigua SALARY: €1833 which is €22K / annually crewpacific.au
