A SOLVED CASE OF CHOREA.... A girl aged 11 yrs, was suffering for the last 4 yrs from twitching of facial muscles and upper arm on the rRT side. She have taken every possible Allopathic medicines with no relief. On the contary, the chorea had become wors. There was a history of TYPHOID ( cerebral ) at the age of 6 years and she was supposed to have fully recoverd from this ailment under Allopathic medicines.This complaint had started about a year later. There was no other significant point in the history apart from this. I felt that there was a residual effect on the nervous system of the toxins during the typhoid-like illness which had manifisted itself on the nervous system even during the acute phase as the history given by the parants indicated. She had recoverd but not radically cured. I put her on Zinc 1m, given twice a day.In about three weeks, the chorea was much reduced. After a further period of about 3 weeks, she developed an offensive discharge from her nose. This discharge continued for 8 months till all were disgusted.So, i prescribe for her an Anti-psoric, THUJA, which immediately residual effect on the nervous system of the toxins during the Typhoid-like illness which had manifested itself on th enervous system even during the acute phase as the history given by the parents indiberedb by the experience. I continued the ZINCUM MET, in its whole series of potencies upto CM. At the end of about a year and half the discharge gradually disappeared.
