A Special Meeting of Dublin City Council to discuss the Proposed Poolbeg Incinerator which was held on Monday 8th. September 2014 in the City Hall . The final vote came, 52 councillors rejected the report, two voted in favour and one abstained. South Dublin and Dún Laoghaire/Rathdown also opposed with Fingal supporting the incinerator. All four CEOs of these local authorities, what we might call unelected elite, will meet shortly to make a decision on this matter. For full details see dublincity.ie
