A Story of Noble, week 5. Well, we found a wonderful new vet, Dr.Stang. Noble had oral surgery and teeth cleaning last Monday and is on continuing antibiotics. done with pain meds now. He had to have 14 teeth removed but saved his canines, just trimmed them off. Dr. said he had worn all those removed teeth down to the gum line from chewing on his cage at the puppy mill. poor baby. Hes only 4. But he should be good with his teeth until the next cleaning! Dr. used to show dogs for many years and is just so bowled over by Noble! Says Noble has a perfect rump and is an excellent example of breeding, could have been a show dog! So our boy is adjusting and gets along with Missy. Still is attached to me and is always,, always by me. Waits as close by the door as he can every time I go out of it. He likes to lie under the Christmas tree. Little Miss has been good for him as far as helping to walk better outside. I call him the Scanner because he stops every so many feet and scans the environment outside before moving on! I dont believe he has a free spirit yet but has been prancing around some. Im going to get him a longer leash now. He is very gentle and likes gentle, quieter people but is not frantic with noise or excitement...good thing, cause my college daughter is home, and she is a happy, enthusiastic girl! Thank you all for your interest in Noble. I think he was meant to be with me! And Dr. Stang stayed with his original estimate and knocked $1000 off the bill because Noble is a rescue! great guy
