A Teachable moment? This morning I had this tweet show up - @FlyingFree333 posted A couple cult scumbags that get off on lying to defend genocide and slavery -> @Frank_Turek @MikeSalerno316... The tweet was in response to this re-tweet: Can Atheists Justify Calling God Immoral Based on Their Worldview? https://t.co/A6QDCU4Vcs... The argument in the video goes - If God does not exist because of evil, by what standard are you saying that God is evil? In the video it turns out that the young man had only an opinion, a subjective opinion and not objective moral standard. So he really does not mean evil and good. All he really means is like or dislike. Back to the teachable moment - Frank and I are lying, in a cult and are scumbags according to FlyingFree333. Clearly a very happy, happy, happy person. But I would and should expect this type of attack; we are hitting FlyingFree333’s world view pretty hard. Also I kind of take it as a badge of honor to be called names along with Frank Turek . My next goal is to be called names along with Reasonable Faith (WLC) in the same tweet! But the reason why I am posting this is to ask my believing friends this question: What would you say to a person like FlyingFree333 if you are talking to him in person? How would you and how should you respond? Something to think about.
