A Teaching — God actively living in you | Power of His relationship. God indeed active lives and stays in your Heart, from the redemption of faith in Christ Jesus in your life. That is the perfect will of God. Ephesians 3:17 (ESV) so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith—that you, being rooted and grounded in love, The Greek word used for dwell is: κατοικέω or katoikeō (spoken: kat-oy-keh-o) means: Strong-Lexicon To house permanently, that is, reside (literally or figuratively): - dwell (-er), inhabitant (-ter). Thayer-Lexicon 1) to dwell, settle. 1a) metaphorically divine powers, influences, etc., are said to dwell in his soul, to pervade, prompt, govern it. 2) to dwell in, inhabit. 2a) God is said to dwell in the temple, i.e. to be always present for worshippers. Part of Speech: verb The fact the the word is a verb, shows the fact that this indwelling is something that God is doing in your life in this moment for you, and that it doesnt stop. The Greek word for heart is: καρδία or kardia (spoken: kar-dee-ah) means: Strong-Lexicon The heart, that is, (figuratively) the thoughts or feelings (mind); also (by analogy) the middle: - (+ broken-) heart (-ed). In this context, God is actively seeking to in and with your heart. Its a relationship of male and female. You are in Christ God, and Christ God is in you: His bride. Ephesians 3 14 For this reason I bow my knees before the Father, 15 from whom every FAMILY in heaven and on earth is named, 16 that according to the riches of his glory he may grant you to be strengthened with power through his Spirit in your INNER being, 17 so that Christ may DWELL in your HEARTS through FAITH—that you, being rooted and grounded in love, 18 may have strength to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, 19 and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, that you may be FILLED with all the FULLNESS of GOD. And in part, if God is this active to live in us: we should try to actively live in Him, to witness the fullness unity He has for us.
