A Time to Tabernacle with the Lord by Chuck Pierce: At sundown tonight the Feast of Tabernacles begins. This is a time set by the Lord to enter a week of feasting and celebration! Leviticus 23:40 says, “Rejoice before the Lord for seven days.” Deuteronomy 16:14-15 says, “Be joyful at your feast for the Lord your God will bless you and your joy will be complete.” This is a wonderful time to gather with family and friends and share testimonies of His goodness. This is a special time to put aside our regular activities and feast on His goodness… a time for a fresh experience of His Glory. This is a prophetic Feast for God’s people in every nation. We must begin with praise, move into presence, and then end with JOY and celebration! One of the aspects of this week of celebration is the construction of small, temporary structures or booths (sukkot) to live in or spend times of fellowship in. Wherever you are, you can develop your own sukkah or covered place where you can fellowship with the Lord. What is important to remember is that the Feast of Tabernacles is a time when the Lord desires to come and manifest His glory in a new way, and for His people to rejoice with gladness and thanksgiving. more info: gloryofzion.org
