A Tire You Never Have to Inflate - Now How Cool Is That? Bridgestone invented a tire you never have to inflate and personally, its about time. Plus, it doesnt ever go flat and its totally recyclable. This is a dream come true. Just think, no more issues with getting a flat in the middle of traffic or when your out alone at night in the snow. Changing flats is a drag. Bridgestone showed off a second-generation prototype of its Air Free tire at the Paris Motor Show, which replaces conventional tires cushion of air with an array of shock-absorbing resin bands that resemble thick, angled spokes. The outside of the airless tire is coated with a replaceable tread made of a thin band of solid rubber. So what do you think? Is never having to worry about having a flat tire again a welcome design?
