A Tribute to Rome Fatham if you will my friends, the gaudy, dim - TopicsExpress

A Tribute to Rome Fatham if you will my friends, the gaudy, dim and slight. The Rugians that drag and dare of Rome to dash her light. A thick and pungent smokey smell that cautions me to pause. All wrapped and trapped, the salty youth who blames our Rome the cause. A faint and fleeting flicker became of Rome now snugly past, Full families line lonely roads to futures forged and vast. The lighted narrow, broke and sparse, a road from blur to black. Now stars and moon shall light the way, a million meters back. The flee from Rome. The careless thought. The much to my dismay, has brought about more darker times than living life that way. Though Rome still lives inside the hearts of those shes driven out. Most unaware is she that sails on pain, shes brought about. Ive taken time to story-tell of Rome, her darkest day. Chariots of gold give up a city, ivory paved. Its all to know that she is life. That Rome is safe and sound. The sadder news that Rome is charred and raised to frosty ground. A bare and somber sight for sure to gaze upon her brow. Id rather eyes of blind and frown than gaze upon her now. For those who sought to rattle Rome, unweeve her stitch by labor. I bid the chance to meet with you; return the fullest favor.
