A Tribute to, and Celebration of Mrs. Moody It is with joyful thanksgiving for her years of faithful and dedicated service, but with true sadness for her and for our community, that I announce that Mrs. Moody will leaving us at the end of this school year. For the last seven years, Mrs. Moody has loved and served our staff, our students and their families with persistence, skill and grace. She has demonstrated her love for God, for our school and our families through her diligent work, patient planning and attention to detail. Mrs. Moody has brought order out of the chaos that was our administration. We now have orderly files, procedures and templates for the application process, for field trips and major as well as minor events in our school year. We now have regular and informative newsletters. We now return phone calls and emails promptly. We now have weeks or even months of notice and detailed instructions before events and duties occur. We have agendas for parent meetings and weekly staff meetings. We have the proper supplies at the proper times. Teachers now have five to seven recesses and lunches free of yard duty instead three or four. You would have to have had a student here longer than six years to have any idea what she has accomplished. She has been my rock, my helper, my advisor and my friend. She has taken so many of the burdens that used to by mine, from rosters to newsletters to applications and fall packets, from assembling entrance assessment packets to standardized testing packets to field trip packets, from ordering supplies to vendor phone calls to scheduling. She has tackled the projects that I knew I should have completed but just never could (did) get to, and always with a willing attitude and a patient smile. We will sorely miss you Mrs. Moody. Personally, as well as on behalf of the students, staff and Board of Directors of the Carden Country School, I want to thank you for your patient, professional, dedicated service to God and to our school. Your absence will bring genuine hardship and true sadness. We are very sorry that we must say good-bye, but we thank you and wish you and your family only the very best of God’s blessings. We will celebrate, honor and remember your presence and your service here. Please continue to pray for Mrs. Moody and her family, as well as all of our students, families and staff, that our work may be the Lord’s and that it might find favor in his sight. Gratefully, Christopher Harvey Director, Carden Country School
