A Yoruba movie subtitle reads: "Akin, last time I came here, the play that we play cause my pregnant" Yoruba Movie Industry disrespects us with their subtitles and captions! That is why I lampoon people like Antar Olaniyan who is very intelligent and outspoken in English but failed to use that to effect changes in Yoruba Movie Industry! We need more intelligent and outspoken young Yoruba movie stars to take the front rows. We can keep Babasuwe, Baba Latin, Sanyeri, Funke Akidele and a horde of others for local movies but we need more of Yoruba movies acted in English! English is the world most used language and has captured 85 percent of world literature. Besides, other African countries are now interested in Nigerian movies and they want to watch in English Language and Igbos do all their movies in English and Yoruba people who started movies in Nigeria should not push themselves to back rows by just acting in Yoruba Language alone! There must be rules and regulations, you cannot just wake up in a day and just because you want to make money and in hasty to produce lousy movie just to have your money stack up! There must a fine for any obvious errors made in movie captions and you will see that Movie directors will be given their clips to the professionals to proofread their subtitles and captions!
