A, You cant apologize to me for the genocide and whitewash of my Native American ancestors, period. Especially not with insufficient national healthcare and infinite stipulations about all the handouts I get to be thankful for, or by selling me a discounted tribal car tag (to put on a car that is a product of your colonialism) and then pulling me over every other day upon suspicion that, surely, I am poor, uneducated, and possessing paraphernalia, and then going home to thank Jesus for the dinner your wife cooked for you, or by criminalizing People of Color for the diseases you gave them and calling their incarceration justice. And certainly not with the way you teach school children that youve made it all OK and it isnt anything worth exhausting their young, naive psyches over. It is systemic oppression and, contrary to popular belief, each and every spoke in the wheel can be dismantled whenever we are ready to get our hands dirty with something other than blood.
