A ZOMBIE apocalypse is to descend on Cardiff. No, it’s not - TopicsExpress

A ZOMBIE apocalypse is to descend on Cardiff. No, it’s not just a typical 3am on a Sunday morning in the capital’s pub quarter, but ‘real’ zombies chasing ‘real’ potential victims. The 2.8 Hours Later event called Survival is making a return to Cardiff. It will see players start at a safe place in the Grangetown area of Cardiff before being provided with a map to help hunt out their supplies. Along the way they will be chased by scores of infected zombies, played by actors in full costume and make-up, who will attempt to infect them by marking them with invisible ink. There will also be police and government authorities trying to control civilians. Simon Evans co-founded 2.8 Hours Later with his business partner Simon Johnson. He is reported as saying: “The game was received so enthusiastically the first time round and we hope to make it even more successful this year,” he said. “It’s incredible to see our players become totally immersed in the narrative, and they seem to love the adrenaline kick they get from playing the game. 2.8 Hours Later will be in Cardiff on March 28-29 and April 4-5.
