A big congratulations to Bissell Development Teams Tao Geoghegan-Hart, who took the best young rider jersey at Stage 1 of the Amgen Tour of California yesterday, riding in to the break after just 8km of racing. Tao has been part of the Rapha family for a number of years, contributing to our site and photo shoots while he rose through the ranks in the UK. Fresh from taking third at the U23 Liège–Bastogne–Liège, hes the youngest rider in the race, and secured his jersey by taking time bonuses at both intermediate sprints before tucking in to the bunch as the sprinters teams rocketed the peloton towards Sacramento.
