A big road project will begin September 16 on Dodge Street from 52nd to Turner Blvd. This project could take approximately eight weeks and will require traffic changes and alternate routes. We will provide a lot of information for commuters, METRO Transit customers, businesses and nearby residents. This work is long overdue and we ask your patience so we can complete it. I will participate in a news conference Tuesday to explain the project in detail, along with our traffic engineers, METRO, the state roads department, Omaha fire and rescue and Omaha police.
