A brilliant Thurs. evening at Lake T. brought out a throng of trusty triathletes. Coach Jeff and the Lake T. Lifeguard crew set the swim course as per specs {from Bill H. and Dave Arnold}...of a diamond shaped 600 Yd. swim. Hats off to the hard working lifegaurds and race directors. We had a record turnout of Newbies from HEAT and from the Wed. Nite Swim Series. Perhaps it was the energy from the sighting of Queen Fung herself.... seen drying off and chatting with some of the wetsuiters prior to the Wed. Night Session. Either way, ...BEST TIMES were reported by all swim series Newbies and most thought that Jeff had set an especially long course. With the season well under way, secure those parking passes, dust off those caps and goggles, don that wetsuit[or not], come on down to lake T. and join................... "THE FUNG'. KF
