A call to the intelligentsia of the state: Software industry in the world opened new job avenues for the technically educated youth in the state. This opportunity is well utilised by our children and improved their learning skills and thinking capabilities. They brought name and fame to our motherland along with foreign reserves by earning dollars. In a way their contribution to the wealth of our county is admirable. This industry opened the doors for competition in brain skills rather than physical structure. In a way brought everybody into the realm of world competition. Leaders in this industry prior to the entry of our skilled youth realised the potential of our children and used their skills in the industry. Our youth provided skilled labour at less cost and thrown away many in the industry to back seat. We see the signs of this effect in imposing restrictions on out sourcing in US. In a competitive atmosphere we need to train our youth continuously. This necessity of skill development is forcing our children to work hard and seek training in advanced institutions. Political leadership in our state lags far behind in focussing their attention on this issue. Moreover many youngsters have realised that lot of training, time and exposure to industry are needed for improving their capabilities to suit themselves in a fast changing skill requirements of the industry. Training institutions alone cannot impart these skill. Training aided by leading skilled people together with the exposure to the real projects can only impart these skills. Our youth with the exposure of the western industry are struggling hard in competing with world class skilled intelligentsia. A major section of the leaders hail from seemandhra region. We need a healthy friendly atmosphere among these skilled intelligentsia. Unfortunately mistrust is created by the politicians of the state and center. Under these conditions these skilled laboureres has to work under hostile atmosphere which leads to more stress and strain for these employees. The conditions in the state are compelling the intelligentsia from seemandhra migrate to the other states which is unfortunate. Those who form part of intelligentsia of the state please rise above the regional feelings to keep ourselves on top of the world with the growing opportunities provided by the growing needs of the software industry. Then only we can take along many of the aspirants to fulfil their dreams.
