A cautionary tale about starting a business with an immature - TopicsExpress

A cautionary tale about starting a business with an immature friend and his rich dad. Beware of the cliche pitfalls that are bound to happen when one partner chooses funding over friendship. Phunkshun Wear was a part of my life that I would like to remember in a better light than my recent experiences allow for. Almost a full year since I sold my interests and Ive been trying, unsuccessfully for months now, to get my old business partners to provide me with my tax documents. I dont want to be bitter, in fact I want to wish them all the best in life and business, but I cant disregard the fact that Ive been treated as if I were a pariah. Its really disappointing that Lanny and his father have chosen to just ignore me. They have stopped responding to my emails and messages, and even most of the people I originally hired keep me at a distance. Ive been advised to get a lawyer involved, which I dont have the money for, just to get what I am legally entitled to. Im writing this because Im officially over it. Dont buy their gear, dont support this non-rider driven company, they dont need your money. Lannys dad has enough of that Oil money to continue subsidizing his sons living for the rest of his life. Rant over.
