A chap named Ian Ward posted this on our page yesterday, certainly a different way of stealing your ride, so maybe putting a steering lock on as all times is essential. Over to Ian... Just to warn fellow bikers to make sure you put the steering lock on your pride and joy even if you are only popping into a petrol station for a few minutes. Last week 2 Scum bags on a scooter relieved me of my 11 plate fireblade from a Texaco garage in Swanley, they wait till you go in to pay then one pushes your bike to get it rolling then the one on the scooter propels your bike away, I also witnessed this down the old Kent road yesterday during the evening rush hour so lock it or risk losing it .
