A charge sheet against high ranking public officials was served to the Larnaka District Court in connection with last summer’s Dromolaxia land scandal. They are legal entity Polleson Holding Ltd, former Electricity Authority of Cyprus (EAC) head Charalampos Tsouris, former Cyprus Telecommunications Authority (Cyta) chairman Stathis Kittis, AKEL party officials Christos Alekou and Venizelos Zanettou, businessman and Wadnic Trading ltd shareholder Antonis Ioakim, land Registry Department Officer Gregoris Souroullas, his brother and former Cyta senior marketing manager Yiannis and Sek trade union representative Orestis Vasiliou. All defendants must appear before the Larnaka Dirtrict Court on February 4, where they will be informed of the charges against them.
