A co worker and I are looking to get a veteran ID card here in Kansas. When checking with the VA they told us we cannot get one unless we can not afford insurance. We work at Blue cross and Blue Shield so we do not qualify. Does anyone know if there is another entity we can get one from? We can get a notation added to our drivers license but I just got a new one prior to the adding of the notation.Actually they changed policy a few months after I renewed which means I would have to pay for a new license to get my ID changed.
