A cold front will sweep through the Carolinas Thursday. Its starved for moisture so the chance of rain is slim & none and slim is walkin out of the building. You will notice a big temperature drop from Thursday to Friday. Many area will be 12° - 15° cooler Friday afternoon. Expect it to be clear, but chilly at high school football games Friday night! There are still very strong indications of cold air invading much of the eastern U.S. next week as post typhoon Nuri pumps up a ridge on the west coast and produces a trough along the eastern seaboard. Its still too early to know how chilly it will be, but it is VERY likely we will be far below average.
