I admit I have used Fair and Lovely at one point of my life (Not anymore and never will). Advertisement Eligibility Examination Marks: Respect Time: Take your own, but kindly change * Why do MBA college advertisements show good looking women? An incentive to join the course? ( objectifying women [such a regressive thought]) Its like putting an item number in a Tushar kapoor movie for some attention. * Why do shaving razor ad(s) have shirtless men on bikes? * Honestly when you put Katrina in a mango drink ad, do you actually expect us focus on the drink? * Shah Rukh khan and Sushant Singh Rajput have a fair complexion. This doesnt mean every one needs to be FAIR. Cmon FAIR & Lovely, we need a FAIR world (not in terms of complexion) * I think women are much smarter than just falling for deodorants, free talktime, a thin cell phone etc. Ever heard of character? Well , I wont blame the ad agencies for THIS because we men do notorious things in(:( ] this country . * Akshay Kumar and Salman Khan MIGHT jump from a cliff for THUMBS UP coz they get paid a fortune for it , not a common man. * The recent Airtel ad where a woman who is her husbands boss at work but still cooks for him at home conveys a solid message (subject to interpretation, of course). Indian advertising industries needs a quality assurance check. These visuals shape opinions in peoples minds. Media has a responsibility.
