A couple of things: 1. We should not be cheering this administration for normalizing relations with Cuba. If so we need to hand out medals for everyone that successfully ties their shoes. The Cuban people have suffered more than long enough through this stupid American 5 decade temper tantrum. It was the right thing to do, 50 years ago. Bout. Damn. Time. And Miami Cubans can shut the hell up. Hate and bitterness helps no one. 2. You should be FURIOUS that they canceled the release of The Interview. It sets an incredibly dangerous precedent. Get ready for more scares in the future. Those that are apathetic or happy such a film, any film, would be cancelled need to unfriend me right the hell now. I cannot easily reconcile the depth of ignorance or fear that would make any of this ok in your head. This isnt about the merits of one film. This is about the death of culture. Of commentary through art. This is a precedent for censorship and a massive cudgel we just handed our enemies. I return you now to your regularly scheduled silly and drunken posts, already in progress. Dont worry. Your Government has everything in control!
