A couple of things I took from last night. Cody Garbrandt and - TopicsExpress

A couple of things I took from last night. Cody Garbrandt and Paul Felder both had some of the most impressive debuts I have seen in the sport in a long time. Codys was most impressive for the fact he was unknown and so relaxed. Paul Felder had his uncle in this group telling us he got his shot and we all kept an eye out for him. Marion Reneau was an animal and relentless. That fight is an example of 10-8 rounds and a fight where the camp should have thrown in the towel. Her opponent was just outclassed in every way. After Gus/Rumble winner there isnt anyone on the horizon for Jones. If that is the case - I wouldnt mind seeing Anderson Silva fight Jones if he has a dominant return. Jones is going to become the GOAT, so Silva should be the guy to stop him in his tracks or hand over the reign. That would go down as the greatest possible fight in the history of MMA. 195lbs catch weight sounds great to me. The UFC did a great job at promoting this event - I have never been more hyped and never seen an event more hyped. It brang out the best and worst in fans and I cant wait to relive the fight. One final thing - I was very impressed with Lombard. Burkman is a tough fighter and has never been KOd, he also submitted Fitch which is something very few people can say. Lombard has been known to gas and this fight he picked his shots and won the decision without gassing and without giving up much to his opponent. An evolving Lombard is scary. Edit * Apparently it wasnt Felders debut. Thanks guys.
