A couple of weeks ago now we briefly mentioned an exciting custom order wed just finished, and were waiting for a photo from the customer before we shared! Now, here it is! Our client was wanting a custom graphic for their catamaran Blue Nose. We worked on a design that fitted their inspiration, including some two tone text and some Portsmouth shields. The sizes of the graphics was something of a challenge for us, with a circle diameter of 80cm, and text length of 2.5meters, it involved some interacte placing to get these put together! And, as we cant print on vinyl, every single colour had to be cut out seperately and layered on top of each other. A lengthy process, but one that sometimes achieves sharper affects than printing. So, after a couple of days of piecing the graphics together, they were ready to go! They were then flown out to Thailand alongside the owners to be applied by the boatyard where Blue Nose is kept. We recieved this photo (last) of the graphics in place on Blue Nose and they look great! Its such an amazing feeling to see our graphics in place; designed from scratch to meet the clients needs.
