A day in the life of a mildly OCD person: Came home last night late, found some packages had been delivered. Told husband I was tired & wanted to go to bed but first I had to open the packages and put everything away. He said no, I didnt, not really. I assured him that I did. I opened them. There were some dishes I had ordered, including a new butter dish. Bravely, I decided that Id wash them in the morning. He patted me on the head and went to bed. I stared at the dishes; I bit my lip. I washed the dishes. I went to the bedroom and woke him up. If you want to use the new butter dish in the morning, I washed it, I said. He very kindly did not threaten to divorce me.
