A day later and I still cant decide how I feel about the Family Guy/Simpsons crossover. There were moments of truly great fan service, but also a lot of scenes that felt like your overeager teenage brother making your childhood toys do horrible things to each other. Maybe the tones of the goofy, sweet Springfield and the snarky, cynical Quahog are just too disparate to functionally coexist. All that being said, the one thing it absolutely did reinforce is that no matter the context, Lisa Simpson is a great character.
