~A distressing past~ A painful past can paralyze your present life. The suffering and trauma may haunt you day and night. You feel like a victim and want justice to be done. But when you allow yourself to be haunted by revenge, your memory becomes vulnerable and starts to disintegrate. Your brain is a complex organ. When the brain is constantly confused by negativity and hatred, the body will struggle to function normally. One of the implications of a constant mental stress is Alzheimer; an incurable disease where you have memory lapse and fall back into childhood. This is a terrible psychological distress for patients and relatives. It is important to see the past not as a burden, but how it has made you emotionally stronger. Positive thinking is when the past is seen as a resource for a bright future. Affirmations (Take a few minutes off your busy schedule and meditate of the affirmation) Divine Energy and Spiritual Master, I am starting my day and I request you to give me the ability to reason in a good way during the whole day. I should not encourage negativity in people and my words should not be meaningless. I should remain positive and resist all temptations that make me commit shameful acts. I should be positive and my words should be logical.
