The 2-ton elephant in the middle of the room: After the recognition of 44 athletes, 4 coaches and team announcer, not a single player or coach from pre-1962 teams have been recognized. It isn’t my intent to rain on anyone’s parade or disparage any of the fine athletes and coaches who have been honored.
