A few Monday Reflections: a) The rate at which I am busy directly correlates to my overall sassiness. b) Seeing someone you respect lose their fighting spirit is really sad. c) I am really REALLY glad the city council did the smart thing and table the Hotel vote until the incoming council has gotten its sea legs. If the same level of sobriety had been brought to any number of other decisions the past two years would have been a lot more productive for Greensboro. d) I always really love seeing all the amazing things the people I know are working on. e) Got an info packet for an online retreat Ive signed up for about Romantic Fantasy, Everyday Disappointment: Meditation and Relationships. One quote stood out: There is nothing as delicious as falling in love and my first thought was I can think of five dishes off the top of my head that are more delicious. Told ya I was feeling sassy today. f) Obligatory Haruki Murakami quote: “Genius or fool, you dont live in the world alone.
