A few Occupy Philly folks are some of the organizers of this exciting, first-ever event: the Philadelphia Urban County Fair! Featuring live music, potluck food, activities for kids (like a moon bounce!), and a fascinating array of workshops and discussions, including a keynote speech by dissident professor Dr. Anthony Monteiro, this will be unlike any other County Fair before it. But still do bring your giant pumpkins! (Or any interesting fruit or vegetables.) The Fair is hosted and organized by the North Philly Peace Park, the name of which OP followers may recognize from its early days as an Occupy Vacant Lots garden. If you havent been there in a while, it has truly become something to behold. Dont miss it!
