A few Signs of Spiritual Abuse: 1. It is not safe to question authority. 2. Authority plays the God card to manipulate and control. 3. Authority enforces rules they are themselves exempt from. 4. Authority controls the story narrative by making sure you have limited contact or influence from those who would tell a different story. 5. Those who leave are labeled in some way and then shunned relationally.
