A few colleagues organized a farewell lunch for me at the Esquire - TopicsExpress

A few colleagues organized a farewell lunch for me at the Esquire Kitchen, Tropicana City Mall today. As I was leaving the office and bid my boss Ir. Robert Ang farewell, he heard about the lunch and decided to join in despite his busy schedule (having to rush back ahead of his original plan from Macau last night to attend urgent meetings this afternoon). So instead of my colleagues buying me a lunch, he foot the bill. This boss who is 18 years younger than me is undoubtedly superb, considerate and nice to me. He wanted very much to retain me and hoped I could stay long with his company from day one and on many other occasions. But I have to let him down for many reasons, the most important being the work pressure that I cant endure. It is like a dream in which I excitedy left an old company I have worked for 24 years to join a young company, just to quit regrettably after working 7 months. Now back to a state of unemployment and retirement. But I have many plans to keep myself busy from now on.....
