A few days ago I finally got the chance to see the 9/11 memorial and museum. A fascinating view. The museum takes you right down to the footprints of the original twin towers and unearths where and how the steel box columns were fastened to the bedrock in lower manhattan. 13 years to the day when so many innocents lost their lives in that exact spot. Such a humbling experience, such a tragedy of untold proportions. Still feels like just yesterday. RIP
