A few days ago, someone here posted up the horse carriages on frost week and lots of people replied in agreement of her concerns and their indignation about how humans were oppressing horses by domesticating them and using them for domestic duties e.t.c. Im not usually one to go through peoples facebook profiles and what not, but a lot of those people seemed to have cats, hamsters, dogs e.t.c as pets. It kind of made me wonder where you draw the line if youre against domestication of animals for labour. Is it ok to keep your cat locked up in one house from birth till death just for your pleasure, with the window their only view of the outside world? If youre reall all about that animal rights bullshit for everything these days, is it not easier to start with the most obvious? What in the world makes one feel that its not ok to apparently abuse horses by domesticating them and using them for various duties, but its ok for you to restrict a pets movements to a cage,house, yard e.t.c and keep it around solely for the purpose of entertaining you as a pet just cause you feed it. #FreeTheCatsFirst #TheGoodGuyLetTheDogsOut
