A few minutes ago we sent out my concession via press release. Im sorry I didnt do it in a speech last night; it got late, with many votes outstanding, and frankly I wasnt quite sure where or how to do it. Chalk it up to being a first time candidate! I want to say thank you again to all of our incredible supporters. We couldnt have done what we did without you, and I will be eternally grateful. To the more than 90,000 Alaskans that voted for me-- and that number will rise with the outstanding ballots left to be counted-- thank you for putting your faith in me, and for believing that change is possible. I was asked repeatedly last night if I will run in 2016. I have not made a decision on that, and frankly have to see what this next year (call it eight months) holds. I will say this: to the people all over the state who have my yard signs-- why dont you go ahead and hold on to those. Just to be safe.
