A few months ago, I happened to switch on the television and flipped to a cartoon channel so that my four-year-old could watch something for 30 minutes while I finished writing an article. I was appalled to see five commercials for processed, sugary, junky, and 100 percent unhealthy food targeted to kids, 10 years old and below, in under five minutes.
